I’m currently working, together with animator Anders Hellman, on a short film called “The Treasure”. It’s going to be shown at “C/O Illustration” – the first big illustration fair in Stockholm, Sweden, at the end of March.
Music Video for Swedish band Amplifetes is slowly coming along. Collaboration between Emma Hanquist and Anders Hellman.
Emma Hanquist is now being represented by AGM. Emma’s main source of inspiration is pictures that she finds on the internet; family vacation photos from the sixties, hand coloured photographies from the beginning of the 1800s or pictures of unintentional still lives. She prefers to work with analogue handmade textures and drawings combined with digital imaging to create interesting stories.
