Personal work

Artwork by Tina Zellmer

Whenever Tina Zellmer is inbetween assignments (and when it is bad weather outside), she is trying to get some personal work done.
This time she was playing around with mixed materials:
black pencil drawings, old collages, marmoring, acrylic paint, coloured pencils and photoshop in the end.
Here are some of the results.

Marble mania

Artwork by Tina Zellmer

I marbled one whole day in my studio with friends who never marbled before. It was so much fun and (after our first struggles) we had really nice results in the end. I went totally ‘marble crazy’ and besides normal paper,
I marbled on leaves and stones.

Upcoming Projects: Highlights and duopress

Artwork by Violet Lemay

Violet Lemay was hard at work all summer completing three children’s book projects, one for Highlights and two for duopress. The final art is on its way to the printer but will not be available for viewing until various dates in 2012. Meanwhile, Violet took this photo to prove that she hasn’t been sitting still: it took over a thousand sheets of paper to make the 144 illustrations required by these three books.
