Clare illustrated all the backgrounds on this 30 second advert to promote the BBC’s “My Beatles Story” campaign. It’s aim is to encourage people to share their stories and memories of the Beatles in time for the 50th anniversary of the release of ‘Love Me Do’ on Friday 5th October. Clare worked with lovely animation company Blue Zoo.
Frank Flöthmann’s simplistic cartoons are inhabited by instantanously likeable characters. There are cowboys explaining your mobile phone and kids in hilarious 10-sec-stories about steel. Frank’s definition of animation is ‘creating as much motion as necessary with as little means as possible’. This is his show reel.
