Lately I have been reading about the push to encourage young girls to foster an interest in math, science, and engineering. I wanted to include another children’s illustration in my portfolio, so I created a great girls-only piece featuring Simple Machines and the ways they work! I experimented with color temperature, time of day, and a little typography.
