This red-cross animation about the Haïti heartquake, was created for the Olympic game opening to remember the tragedy and to thank all those who helped generously as all the eyes around the world turn to the games.
My good friend Marsha Marks, author-turned-movie producer, is making a short movie for which I am creating a series of stills. Originally the plan was to use several of my existing illustrations—personal work from years ago, all painted in gouache—but as the project has evolved, we’re including fewer and fewer of those original paintings. Instead, I’m creating new work which fits both the format and the subject matter more precisely.
The yet-to-be-titled movie is a hopeful commentary on the ups and downs of marriage: a cycle of love, hurt, and healing. The images posted here are a bit grim, but (spoiler alert), never fear, this particular movie has a happy ending.

In collaboration with the Max-Planck Institute for Astrophysics, Jojo Ensslin created a partly animated and interactive comic about the early universe and the cosmos.
Andy Potts has just completed work on an animated promo for UK band The Dallas Guild’s new single ‘Burn’. It’s a space themed collaboration with illustrator/animator Mark Taplin and you can see it on YouTube or below the screen shots.

Artwork by Mario Wagner, Scion A/V Presents: Redman Remix Project… Scion Audio Visual (Scion A/V) presents another installment of their remix series, this time enlisting Italian electro producers Gigi Barocco, Nic Sarno, and His Majesty Andre to give their take on Redman’s “I Hold the Crown”, a previously unreleased track originally produced by the one-and-only Erick Sermon.
