Katy Lemay is nominated for best illustration in Quebec magazines

Katy Lemay is part of a distinguished few nominated for the best illustration to have appeared in a Quebec magazine. The selected illustrations appeared in ELLE Quebec magazine and dealt with men, family and shared custody. The winner will be announced in early May.

Violet Lemay – 2009 Best of Savannah Award

Violet Lemay Illustration has been selected for the 2009 Best of Savannah Award in the Commercial Art & Illustration category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).

The USCA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Violet Lemay Illustration has been in business for ten years. The illustrator, a resident of Savannah, GA for over fifteen years, attributes her success, “to the good Lord above and to my outstanding agent, Anna Goodson.”

Gianluca Foli – International Youth Library

L’orso con la spada (The bear with sword) is Gianluca Foli’s first children’s book. Written by Davide Calì and published by Zoolibri, Rue du Monde, Atalntis, Woongjin and Wilkins Farago. It was selected by Cj Picture Book Festival as best 100 new publication 08 and it has won the White Ravens 08 from the International Youth Library of Berlin.
