Photomontage Exhibition

Artwork by Michelle Thompson

I was really pleased to be invited to take part in this exhibition earlier this month. It included work by Graham Rawle, Tom Burns, Martin O’Neil, Joel Lardner, Nick White and several significant others. It was very timely to have an exhibition of photomontage work coinciding with the exhibition at Tate Britain of work by Kurt Schwitters and the collage artist John Stazeker winning the Deutsche Börse photography prize.

Still life

Artwork by Nathalie Dion

Here is what occupies every hour of my spare time!
These still lifes are made from direct observation. I move the easel though the house looking for or building scenes that enchant me and make a huge mess all around it.

Eduardo Bertone – Puke Exhibition

Artwork by Eduardo Bertone

Twin Gallery in Madrid presents Bertone´s last show. A humorous and surreal interpretation of the contemporary culture. A world of contrasts between reality and dreams, between suffering and joy. PUKE is an spontaneous reflex that generates a violent and spasmodic expulsion of what upsets you, an act that usually has a pleasing result. A mechanism for expelling ingested poisons out of the body, to clean yourself.
