Andy Potts has illustrated a 7″ record sleeve for this year’s, ‘Secret 7″ ‘ exhibition and auction to aid Mind Charity. Created for Jeff Buckley’s song, “Lover, You Should’ve Come Over,” imagery was based on the song’s lyrics.
“She is the tear that hangs inside my soul forever,” is one such lyric.
All artists involved were anonymous until after the exhibition, held at The Jetty in North Greenwich, London in June. A sale day occurred after the exhibit.
An auction is now online where Potts’ illustrations are available to purchase for charity until July 8th. Potts also submitted an illustration for Jimi Hendrix’s “Castles Made Of Sand,” which was not part of the exhibition.
