Angelo was commissioned to illustrate for an online essay on how screen time brought the author closer to her kids and she shares vivid examples that act as the jumping off point for the illustration.

He used the scene from the essay where the mother uses time in the kitchen as a joint activity to illustrate the story. His organic and lively lines captured how this can be a messy and eventful process but truly can feel closer rather than screentime.
