Dominic Bodden / Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University / Democracy: Protests, Police, and the Press

Dominic Bodden was commissioned by the Knight First Amendment Institute to make the lead illustration for Covering Democracy: Protests, Police, and the Press, a new report written by Joel Simon that documents the escalating antagonism between the press and the police and looks at the historical and social contexts giving rise to the current situation. The event will also kick off an advanced screening of the Knight Institute’s soon to be released short documentary exploring the same issues, Flashpoint: Protests, Policing, and the Press.
