Nien-Ken Alec Lu was commissioned by The Daily Telegraph newspaper to create this crossed-page illustration alongside two spot illustrations for their family section.

The idea is to depict a humorous scene with a family on a road trip with the father getting annoyed by other family members doing their own shenanigans in the car.

Nien-Ken uses his character design and landscape skills to illustrate this scene with lots of details on the character and harmonious colors.
