Babs Creates Editorial Illustration for New Jersey Monthly Magazine’s Love Letter to Morristown, New Jersey

Babs was commissioned by New Jersey Monthly Magazine to create an editorial illustration for a feature celebrating Morristown, New Jersey, and the experience of a native New Yorker discovering her new hometown.

Written by Tamar Wyschogrod, the article is a love letter to Morristown from a former die-hard New Yorker who has grown to embrace New Jersey as the place she would happily call home for retirement.

Known for its colonial history, walkable downtown, restaurants, bars, and vibrant community, Morristown offers a unique blend of small-town charm and cultural life. At the heart of the town is Morristown Green, a beautiful historic park and gathering place surrounded by shops, restaurants, and local landmarks.

For this New Jersey Monthly editorial, Babs created an illustration inspired by Morristown’s character, history, and appeal as a new hometown.
