David Senior illustrated an article for Healthcare Design magazine on the topic of blending traditional architecture with advanced landscape design specifically in urban health care facilities. As cities grow denser worldwide, providing patient-centered care has become more of a challenge. Urban medical facilities have a smaller footprint to work with compared to suburban areas, so have to make decisions that blend architecture, landscape design, engineering and planning for community oriented public space. The goal is to create an environment that is welcoming, reassuring and up to code for the benefit of the community.
