Andy Potts has illustrated the latest cover for BBC Science Focus on new theories that could take us Inside a Black Hole. The brief was to visualise the astronomical body with the suggestion of a mapped interior and turned to Cinema 4d/Redshift to experiment with 3d tubular shapes, textures and lighting. Andy took the results in to Photoshop to produce a number of visual approaches for Art editor Joe Eden before the final illustration was chosen.
