Andy Potts / Secret 7″ 2026 / Skin: Purple

Andy Potts recently exhibited in the 10th edition of Secret 7”, a hugely successful record sleeve art auction for charity, that raised more than £115,000 for War Child UK. With the close of the auction the contributors behind the artworks can be revealed and here’s Andy’s take on the single ‘Purple’ by Skin. The abstract head design was inspired by lyrics such as ‘Purple washes over me, Seeping through my open seams’ and it was created in Cinema 4d/Redshift with some Photoshop finishing. Andy submitted three other pieces, based on some of the seven singles chosen, that didn’t make the show and are included here. In order are entries for Glass Animals: Take A Slice, John Lennon: Out Of The Blue and The Last Dinner Party: Let’s Do it Again.
