Audrey Malo was commissioned by the City of Laval to create a poster for the second edition of Cyclovia, a public event celebrating active transportation, sustainable mobility, and community connection.

Imagine a street buzzing with people instead of cars. You’re cycling in the fresh air, moving freely through the city, discovering familiar streets from a new perspective, and perhaps even running into an old friend.

That’s Cyclovia: for a few hours, public roads are reserved for active transportation, creating a safe and welcoming environment for walking, cycling, and other human-powered modes of travel. The initiative encourages physical activity, promotes sustainable urban mobility, and transforms city streets into vibrant public spaces where people can connect.

For the City of Laval’s second Cyclovia, Audrey Malo’s poster captures the energy, openness, and collective spirit of an event that invites residents to experience Laval differently—one street, one ride, and one connection at a time.
