Clare Mallison illustrated the very first Christmas celebration in what would become Texas in 1528, the first railroad in Austin 1871, Armistice Christmas in 1918, the record breaking snowstorm in 1929 and the lighting of the Texas Capitol Christmas tree in 1994.
