The New York Times asked Esteban to illustrate the new Turning Points 2026. It’s an annual trivia quiz in which the questions cover the most viral and talked about topics of the year.

Esteban approached it in a playful, game like way, where most of the questions are represented by objects that the character has woven into their hair.
