Jennifer Dahbura / Talking Points Memo / The Undocumented Underground Is Fighting Back Inside New York’s Notorious Immigration Court

Jennifer Dahbura was commissioned to create two illustrations for Talking Points Memo as part of a special project by reporter Hunter Walker. This project focuses on the experiences of immigrants in New York.

The story examines the work of volunteers who accompany migrants during encounters with ICE agents, as well as those who provide support in welcome centers and legal clinics.
