Marie Wolf / Chambre des notaires du Québec / Entracte magazine

Marie Wolf was commissioned by Entracte, the magazine of the chamber of notaries Québec, to create an editorial illustration for an article exploring what happens when credit assessments meet artificial intelligence. While AI proved to be a powerful tool, the article also highlights its limitations and the continued need for human supervision and guidance to prevent serious mistakes.
Working closely with the magazine’s visual identity and colour palette, Marie developed a conceptual illustration that deliberately avoids the familiar visual clichés of robots and humanoid machines. Instead, she approached AI as something intangible and shapeless, translating its invisible presence into an abstract visual form.
Bold graphic shapes, vivid colors, a reduced composition and tactile textures create a contemporary editorial image that captures both the capabilities and uncertainties of artificial intelligence as well as the role of human judgement in keeping it on course.
