Nathan was asked to illustrate for the cover of City and State magazine for an issue on Pennsylvania’s open street initiatives.

The cover features Ben Franklin’s enjoying alternative transports down a vehicle free road. This is following the states ambitions to transform the local communities and identity of the towns centre and challenge the history of Pennsylvania and the city’s infrastructure moving forward

Nathan illustrated Ben Franklin reimagined and echoing the carefree and positive attitudes of the issue but balanced with a palette that married with a past aesthetic.
