Nathan Hackett / Houston University / Generational Differences Aren’t the Problem. Our Labels Are.

Nathan was asked to illustrate for an article exploring generational differences and the problems we might encounter when making assumptions of different age groups for Houston University.
Generational divides create problems in the workplace and life, and different writers of H=the Houston university faculty give their insights in bridging the assumed divides between the categories of ‘Boomers’, ‘Millenials’, and ‘Zoomers’. Generalized stereotypes can be easily broken but also recognising these flimsy labels in different age groups could help us to better understand each other.
Nathan illustrated the opening banner for the article with the headline and subtitle to introduce the story, with the characters then being used as spot illustrations, and a main illustration that featured the different characters from the different gens dancing in anachronistic cultural uniforms together sharing different dance moves that were iconic to the different generations they belonged to.
