Nathan Hackett / Pace Media and HCA Healthcare / How HCA Healthcare Prepared for the 2026 World Cup

Nathan was asked by Pace Media to illustrate for HCA Healthcare and an article documenting their handling of the FIFA World Cup in the Summer.

The article covered some of the services that HCA Healthcare provided and the resources they distributed in ensuring that the safety and health of the football fans stayed a priority. Some of the highlights were the translation services provided to the international visitors, redistribution of staffing in HCA hospitals for higher traffic areas and high acuity surges, community preparedness and outreach, infectious diseases and decontamination and security services that kept football fans safe.

Nathan illustrated small spot vignettes that focused in on some of the topics covered in the story and required a lot factual testing and accuracy to best highlight the medical experts and their combined efforts for a successful World Cup hosting. The spots were illustrated in circular containers and kept a thematic consistency of a ball flowing through the pages
