Nathan was asked by Texas Heritage for living to illustrate for an article on how to keep your backyard safe this Summer.

Texas has a culture of hosting in the garden, and especially with weather as hot as it is this year, hosts of barbecue gatherings and birthday parties need to know about the required safety precautions around the pool, trampoline play-set and grill/smoker placement to reduce risk and help prevent injuries.

Nathan illustrated some of the main situations covered in the article in a social gathering so readers of the article can spot the things going wrong as they uncover the practical information given. The illustration was designed to be fun and warm to make the information easier to digest in a potentially serious and distressing topic.
