Nathan was asked by the Wall Street Journal to illustrate for an article written by Chris Colin about his novel idea of turning the isolated fatigue of admin in life into a social night.

People are spending more and more time on administrative tasks outside of work and eating into their precious time meant for unwinding, so Colin and his friends have decided they’d get together once a week for ‘admin night’ as a quiet rebellion against the monotonous drudgery that’s started to dictate our lives.

Nathan illustrated the article choosing to focus on the upbeat message rather than the despairing reality of admin in life to enforce the articles hopeful narrative in the familial setting of a kitchen.
