Van Saiyan / L’hèmicycle / Budget, déficits, dette, mission impossible

Van Saiyan was commissioned by the French magazine L’Hémicycle to illustrate the cover and three interior illustrations. The whole piece revolves around the tricky political situation French president Macron is dealing with right now. kind of a mission impossible for him! Van really enjoyed this project, since it allowed him to develop a style halfway between comics and action movie posters. Two of the three inside illustrations have a more conceptual vibe, focused on French debt.
