Van Saiyan was commissioned to create a new illustration for issue 129 of Telos, published by Fundación Telefónica, inspired by quantum physics. The article delves into the major technical challenges quantum computing still faces. Although these systems currently demand enormous amounts of energy, they could eventually outperform classical computers by solving problems that remain impossible today. An especially enjoyable brief for Van, as it offered plenty of space to explore bold and playful ideas.
