Nathan Hackett / Wall Street Journal / Airport Lounge

Nathan Hackett

Nathan was asked by the Wall Street Journal to illustrate for an article about airport lounges.

New York’s JFK airport in terminal 4 has been the setting for an expensive real estate battle between lounge services. The airport lounge is like an open plan living room and brands are now setting up food, work and wellness sections that would entice different travellers to use their services while they wait including new exercise bikes, showers, craft beer flights, recreational games, comfortable massage chairs and cheese mongers.

Within a tight deadline window, Nathan illustrated an airport lounge using characters and activities suggested in the directive to lightly feature content that would be written about in the article.
