AI – AP American Illustration 41 Chosen Winner “Imagined Futures”.
Van Saiyan’s illustration for Telos Magazine (Telefónica Foundation) was chosen to be part of The American Illustration 41 AI-AP Archive Collection as one of the winners.
This was an editorial illustration for Telos Magazine (Spain, January 15th/2022). You can get it via online at www.telos.fundaciontelefonica.com
The illustration deals with the different scenarios of the future. It was a very interesting article on new feminism, science fiction and reproductive biotechnology.
Van was asked to make a retro science fiction illustration about these topics. He wanted to show how a nontraditional family would be in the future on their journey through the stars.
