Andy Potts / BBC Science Focus – Why Does The Universe Exist?

Andy Potts has illustrated and animated the new BBC Science Focus cover for print and Apple News online on the theme ‘Why Does The Universe Exist?’ The brief was completely open to interpretation and the approach could be abstract and shape-based and a lot of fun was had creating ideas. The final ‘Möbius strip’ style illustration was created in Cinema 4d before being polished in Photoshop and After Effects for the final looping animation.
