Andy Potts was commissioned to illustrate the cover for Professional Engineering magazine on the theme of AI and whether it presents an existential threat or engineering opportunity. The brief was to somehow typographically represent AI and Andy modelled a technical looking structure around 3d type in Cinema 4D then composited that with a technological environment of 3d screens and electronic textures in Photoshop.
