Andy Potts / What if we Mined the Moon?

Andy Potts has created a series of illustrations for a feature in the current issue of BBC Science Focus called ‘What If…’ looking at what might happen if we started mining the Moon for its resources. To depict a moon base and mining facility Andy modelled them in 3D and used the virtual camera to create different compositions. Once satisfied with the models, shots and lighting, they were rendered out to Photoshop for fine tuning.
