Chris Madden / Horticultural Studes – Gardener’s World Magazine

Chris Madden was commissioned by Gardener’s World Magazine to illustrate a column about the need to teach horticultural studies in schools.

Alan Titchmarsh explores the idea that, by teaching young people the benefits of gardening and ‘growing their own’ at an early age, not only will they learn important life lessons but also have a positive impact on the planet.

Chris responded to this article by combining the concepts of teaching and gardening; showing a teacher leading his class from a gardener’s greenhouse.
