Danielle Ferretti / Lights On! (Chinese edition) / Journey through the bottom of the ocean

Lights On! was released in April in English and has now been published in Chinese. Written by Donna B. McKinney and illustrated by Daniella Ferretti, the book is a journey through the bottom of the ocean and shows different species with marine bioluminescence, creatures with the property of generating their own light. The main challenge for Daniella was working on the luminosity of the surfaces versus the darkness of the seabed, giving life to 12 pages that are read vertically. She was also inspired by different coastal landscapes that she has been in during her lifetime.
