Four Illustrators From Anna Goodson Illustration Agency Selected Winners in this year’s AI-AP Awards!

‘Rock_Scissors’ created originally for Graphic Emergency group went viral and was shown around the globe on numerous exhibitions, video mappings, in press magazines and on the streets (just to mention Poland, Japan, France or Spain).

It is also helping rising funds for Ukrainians being sold as printed posters, stickers, t-shirts and part of books.

Marella Moon Albanese’s piece “The Rise of Lazarus” has been selected by AI-AP to appear in their 42nd annual book displaying a collection of the industry’s best illustrators of 2022. Marella was selected as one of the 393 images out of almost 8,000 submissions by this year’s distinguished jury.

Two illustrations by Dominic Bodden for the 2023 RAND calendar have been selected as winners and will  be featured in the 2023 American Illustration 42 book.

Since 1963, The RAND Corporation has published an annual calendar that features portraits of notable individuals. Dominic was honoured to be commissioned by The RAND Corporation to illustrate the 2023 RAND Calendar where twelve illustrations were selected out of the fifteen commissioned to be printed in the 2023 calendar.

Van Saiyan’s illustration for Baltimore Magazine was chosen to be part of The American Illustration 42 AI-AP Archive Collection as one of the winners. Van illustrated an article written by Ron Cassie about the 40 years since the Baltimore Orioles won the 1983 World Series title of baseball. Not only a very fun work for Van because he drew a lot of characters, but also because he could learn interesting things from this sport and Baltimore’s team.
