Hanna Melin / Illustrations and gifs / Pew Research Center, New York

Hanna Melin was asked by Pew Research Center, New York, to create a series of gifs and images for an online essay about parenting experiences. The essay was based on focus groups and interviews with American parents and talked about how their approach to parenting is similar – or different – from how they were raised.

The illustrations needed to have a diversity of people and situations, people of different races and ethnicities, ages, and parenting arrangements.
