The Guardian commissioned Joe Magee to produce a series of images for a feature exposing the way that Deliveroo’s ‘dark kitchens’ (faceless catering units) are now undercutting the small local food outlets that have helped build Deliveroo’s business. Deliveroo can copy their menu ideas and raid their customer database too.
