“Welcome to the studio , Not to be sold : Privacy at Notman’s studio or controlling one’s image in the 19th century. Notman was a famous photograph in Montreal , Canada . Katy worked with the portrait of Notman’s picture book “Not to be seen, Not to be put in » revealing an even more forceful effort to protect the portrait subject, even from the eyes of Notman’s staff.
The McCord Stewart Museum is a public research and teaching museum dedicated to the preservation, study, diffusion, and appreciation of Canadian history.
