Kotynski’s illustration that was originally commissioned for a Newsweek PL article about Asperger Syndrome, was selected for American Illustration 41.

The illustration which is titled “Gift’ was created to show that people with this syndrome are actually people who’s disorder is often combine with being a genius .

Being a gifted’ person means seeing the world differently than ordinary’ people. Being different doesn’t mean that person has a handicap, rathe a gift.
