Marella Moon Albanese / The New York Times / Equal pay the U.S. women’s soccer team

The New York Times commissioned Marella Moon Albanese for a standalone black and white spot illustration to be printed in their current events section in the Sunday paper. The illustration focused on the fight for equal pay the U.S. women’s soccer team has been pushing towards in contrast tot he men’s team for six years and how achieving the goal could help level the playing field for future female athletes.
