Maren Amini / Die Zeit / Wonderfully messy – What families look like today

Maren Amini was commissioned this cover illustration “Wonderfully messy – What a modern family look like today for “Die Zeit”newspaper.

The concept was to create an illustration that symbolized different modern family models.  For this illustration in particular, Maren was inspired by a family drawing illustrated by her six year old son Avi Amini.  Maren felt that this childlike style would be the perfect direction to take  for this article.  It shows diversity in a quirky happy way.
