Marta Antelo created this illustration for the last Hadassah Magazine issue.
The story is related by the daughter of a mother with mental illness, she talks about how she felt inherited childhood and adolescence about her mother’s behavior which was eccentric and different in comparison with the other mothers.
Over time, she learns to see those differences as something unique and positive.
