Nathan Hackett / AAA Living Illustration / How to Safely Transport your Christmas Tree

Nathan was asked to illustrate for an article in the November and December issue of the AAA Living Magazine. The article instructs the reader on the best practice for transporting their Christmas tree home safely and preventing that evergreen from ‘fa-la-la-la-la-ing’ off their car.
The illustrated festive scene of the family securing their tree to the car featured the advice and recommended tools to bring along. Besides the scene, the recommended items were also illustrated in an easy to read checklist.
The illustration needed to loosely follow the magazine’s set color palette to be in keeping with the publication’s tone in both online and print versions. Levity was made utilising the narrative of the girl instructing the operation to suggest an easy, positive experience done right.
