Nathan Hackett

The AAA recently in a feature article for cyclist safety on roads asked Nathan Hackett illustrate for the spread to relay the information covered visually.
The article after a brief overview imparts road safety tips that cyclists and motorists should follow when sharing a road and avoid unwanted accidents. Cyclists should wear bright colours and plan their trip in advance while drivers should know to leave adequate distance to the side of the road when passing a cyclist and to avoid distractions.
Nathan illustrated these check-listed tips in an easy to read manner using the AAA colour pallette and abiding the design criteria for the publication, A striking composition cutting across the page was used to compartmentalise the cyclist and driver but make clear they were part of the same narrative.
