Nathan Hackett was asked to illustrate for two articles in the last issue of Kiplinger Magazine, an American personal finance publication.
The first article was originally for a story covering the stock markets transition from a brief period of a ‘bear market’, where stocks were receding in value, to a ‘Bull market’ despite a recession. Midway through the project, the market switched again and the illustration changed to a bear unwelcomely crashing the Bulls party instead of leaving it.
The second illustration was for an article giving advice on how to manage a company buyout offer and build the best bridge to a retirement.
Art direction by Stacie Harrison.
