Nathan Hackett / Wall Street Journal / Your company thinks you need more friends

Nathan was asked by the Wall Street Journal to illustrate for an article on how companies are trying to encourage their workforce to make friends in the workplace and increase job performance by nurturing a sense of belonging amongst staff and facilitating friendships.
The new age of work from home arrangements, employers are trying to ensure their employees are not feeling disconnected from their work cultures. Companies are now seeking the help of third party event planners such as ‘Bring Your Team to Yoga’ and ‘Zoom Bingo’.
Nathan’s illustration was done in a quick turnaround and fulfilled a brief that required the themes of the article and work-friends to be quickly communicated.
