Nathan Hackett / Wine Spectator / The Value Show

Nathan was asked to illustrate for the Wine Spectators ‘Value Show’; a showcase of the best reviewed wines under six different wine categories.
The theme of this issue’s selection feature was couture with a fashion feel, and Nathan illustrated six spot illustrations for the different wine style sections that included ‘Bold Reds’, ‘Refined Whites’ and ‘Pretty Pinks’. The feature also included an opening illustration that guest starred the characters personifying the wine styles Nathan designed.

The illustrations for each section each had their own palette to reflect the wine style and was then tied together in the overarching opener.
