Oboh Moses / Ernst & Young (EY) / Black History Month

Oboh Moses

Oboh Moses was commissioned by the team at Ernst & Young Global to illustrate for black history month. The goal was to showcase how black professionals have broken down barriers in various industries. Visual metaphors where used to represent complex subjects, like a tree with deep roots and wide branches representing the diaspora, and the Young person representing hope/the future generations.

Oboh was required a less complex, painterly technique for this project—a change from his typical style—which he did with ease. The artwork beautifully captures the strength and innovative spirit of these leaders. It illustrates how they are paving the way for future generations
