Sébastien Thibault / Boston Globe / Poverty, by America

Sebastien Thibault

Sébastien Thibault was asked by The Boston Globe to illustrate a review of Matthew Desmond’s book titled “Poverty, by America”. The book talks about how the United States, which has the largest gross domestic product in the world, is in a far better position than any other country to eradicate poverty, but those who have the power to do so refuse to make it a priority. Sébastien therefore had the idea of opposing the wall street bull, which is an iconic symbol of American capitalism with the image of a homeless person.
